We want to make our school community a more inclusive place, where everyone feels welcomed, valued and understood. We want to develop everyone's sense of BELONGING at Exmouth Community College.

So far we have:

• held the school's first community iftar, celebrating the breaking of the fast during Ramadan with our Muslim families.

• led a campaign to develop everyone's understanding of what it means to be neurodivergent, contributing to the whole school broadcast.

• created and led assemblies on Islamophobia and Cultural Diversity Day.

What next?

• Our second community iftar.

• More assemblies, including on Black History Month.

• Our Diversity Ambassadors are keen to set up a World Culture Day at ECC.
